Learning Mobile Applications with Digital.ai Assurance Lab

Before you are able to learn your application, you will first need to do the following tasks:

  • Configure your mobile device connection to the Digital.ai™ Assurance Lab (formerly Experitest Digital Assurance Lab). For more information, see Connecting to Mobile Devices.
  • Select the mobile device in which the application that you plan to test is installed. You will select the device in the Certify Mobile Learn tool.

To select a mobile device:

  1. After you have configured your mobile device connection, open the Certify Mobile Learn utility in Certify by selecting Tools > Certify Interface Learn > Mobile from the menu.

  2. From the Certify Mobile Learn menu, select Device > Connect.

    The Devices dialog opens.

  3. In the Devices dialog menu, select Device > Find if you do not know your device ID. A list of devices appear. Select the device that you want to use for your tests.

    If you know your device ID, select Device > Connect. A Connect to Device dialog opens. Enter the device ID and click OK.

    Certify Mobile Learn attempts to connect to the device. The connection process can take several minutes.

    If the connection is successful, the device opens. You are now ready to begin learning your mobile application.

To learn a mobile application window:

After your device is connected, select Learn > Learn from the Certify Mobile Learn menu.

The screen is learned and objects appear in the Learned Objects tree.
