Renaming XF Definition Objects

You are able to rename learned objects in the Learned Objects tree. When setting up a test in Certify, it is often necessary to rename the objects that are going to be tested for clarity. You can use the Hover Info, Highlight, or Highlight Using Attribute String tools to determine which application element the object represents, and then rename these objects.

To rename objects:

In the Learned Objects tree, right-click on a learned object and select Rename.

The Rename dialog box appears.
Type in the new object name in the text field.
Click OK.

The object name in the Learned Objects tree is updated.

To restore the original object name:

In the Learned Objects tree, right-click on the object and select Undo Rename.
