Using a New Process as a Parameter for an Action
Depending on the action you select for your process step, you may need to add a new process as a parameter for an action.
To add a new process to a step in another process:
- In the Navigation pane, click Processes.
The Processes window appears.
- In the Processes Summary pane, double-click on a process you want to edit.
The Process Editor appears.
- Click the Steps tab.
The Steps tab appears.
- Select a step in which you want to add a process as a variable.
- In the Parameters
tab, click the New Process
button next to the parameter field in which you want to add a process.
Untitled process name appears in the Process parameter field and in the Process Editor Navigation tree.
- Before you can create this new process, you need to save the existing process. Click Yes when asked to save your process.
- In the Navigation tree, select the Untitled process.
- Click the Process Details tab.
- In the Name text field, enter a new name for the process.
- Continue to create your process. For more information, see Creating Processes and Adding Steps to Processes.

After you complete creating this new process, click Save to save this new process.
