Filtering Variants
A process variant is a unique path that shows a specific activity sequence from the beginning to the end of a process. When you first open the Business Process Visualization page, all variants and activities are shown. To view specific variants, use the following filters in the Filters tab:

Duration
-

Business Process Visualization Page
The business processes may extend off the Business Process Visualization page. To view the business process, you can do one of the following steps:

Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
If you have trouble reading the activity name, click on the activity. A pane opens on the right side with the activity information.
- Click on the business processes in the Business Process Visualization page to scroll or drag the process.
- Use the Harmony view. For more information, see Using the Harmony View in Process Intelligence.
To filter variants:

From the left Process Intelligence Navigation pane, click Process Analysis.
The Business Process Visualization page opens.

In the right pane, select a business process from the Business Process drop-down list.
The process appears in the Visualization page.

Click the Filters tab.

In the Filters tab, expand the Variant section.

Filter variants with the following tools:
Filter
Description
Unique
Use the Unique slider to adjust the number of unique start-to-end sequences of activities.
Frequency
Use the Frequency slider to view less often used variants.
Duration
Use the Duration slider to adjust the execution time.
By default, the maximum number of minutes is shown. As you reduce the time, only variants that match that time appear.
Source
Select the business process data source:
- Capture
- Certify
- Process Mining
- RPA
- BPMN
Fixed Cost
Use the Fixed Cost slider to filter variants by a fixed cost.
Variable Cost
Use the Variable Cost slider to filter variants by cost.
The filters that you have used are listed in the left corner of the Business Process Visualization page.
