Filtering Activities

Within the Business Process Visualization page in Process Intelligence, you can apply filters to assist you in finding a specific business activity.

Business Process Visualization Page

The business process may extend off the Business Process Visualization page. To view the business process, you can do one of the following steps:

  • Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

    If you have trouble reading the activity name, click on the activity. A pane opens on the right side with the activity information.

  • Click on the business process in the Business Process Visualization page to scroll or drag the process.
  • Use the Harmony view. For more information, see Using the Harmony View in Process Intelligence.

To filter activities:

  1. From the left Process Intelligence Navigation pane, click Process Analysis.

    The Business Process Visualization page opens.

  1. In the right pane, select a business process from the Business Process drop-down list.

    The process appears in the Visualization page.

  1. Click the Filters tab.

  2. In the Filters tab, expand the Activities section.

  3. Filter activities with the following tools:

    Filter

    Description

    Source

    Select a business process data source:

    • Capture
    • Certify
    • Process Mining
    • RPA
    • BPMN

    Departments

    Select additional departments to view.

    Specific

    Select a specific activity to view.

    Frequency

    Use the Activity Frequency slider to see the number of times a specific activity occurs.

    Duration

    Use the Activity Duration slide to see how long it takes for a specific activity.

    Only activities that meet the duration criteria appear in the Business Process Visualization page.

    Fixed Cost

    Use the Fixed Cost slider to filter activities by a fixed cost.

    Variable Cost

    Use the Variable Cost slider to filter activities by cost.
