Uploading SAP ST03 Data into Worksoft Impact
You can import SAP ST03 data into Worksoft Impact to help you identify which processes should be executed because of an application change. Use the outcome of the Worksoft Impact analysis with the usage data collected from ST03 transactions to prioritize the processes that should be executed to validate that the updated applications are functioning correctly.
Only users with the Tenant Admin role can do the following tasks:
- Upload SAP ST03 data
- Configure the Analysis Scheduler
- Delete records
Other users have read-only access to the data. Data added to one tenant is visible across all the systems.
You can upload ST03 data to Worksoft Impact in the following ways:
- Automatically upload data from SAP using a scheduled background job
- Manually upload a Microsoft Excel (XLSX) file with ST03 data from your SAP system
- Upload ST03 data on demand.
After the ST03 data is uploaded, the data appears in the Transports grid with the following columns:

When you create a new analysis with ST03 data, the Impacted Assets tab displays the ST03 usage counts.
To automatically upload ST03 data from SAP into Worksoft Impact:
- Open Worksoft Impact.
- From the Worksoft Impact dashboard, open the Settings page in the following ways:
- Click the Settings
button at the top of the dashboard.

Click the User button and select Settings from the drop-down menu.

Click the ST03 Data tab.
The ST03 Data tab opens.

From the SAP System drop-down list, select the SAP system where you want to discover transports.
The listed SAP Systems are based on the systems you configured in the Worksoft Portal.

To configure the scheduler, enter the following information:

Select the start date for the first scheduled run.
Occurring
From the drop-down list, select one of the following scheduling options:
- None
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
Scheduling Start Date
Select the day when the schedule should begin.
Recurrence
Select the repeat interval between runs.

From the drop-down list, select the execution time.

Click Save to save your configuration.
When Worksoft Impact gathers the ST03 data, it appears in the grid below. The Upload Type column displays Auto when the data is automatically uploaded.

To view records, click the number in the Asset Count column.
The ST03 Records dialog opens.
To manually upload SAP ST03 data into Worksoft Impact:
- Open Worksoft Impact.
- From the Worksoft Impact dashboard, open the Settings page in the following ways:
- Click the Settings
button at the top of the dashboard.

Click the User button and select Settings from the drop-down menu.

Click the ST03 Data tab.
The ST03 Data tab opens.

From the SAP System drop-down list, select the SAP system where you want to discover transports.
The listed SAP System(s) are based on the systems you configured in the Worksoft Portal.

Select the Fetch from File option.

In the Lookback Period field, specify the month and year of the ST03 data.

In the Select ST03 File field, click the Upload button to upload your XLSX file.
You can also drop the file in the Select ST03 File field.
After the data is uploaded, the data appears in the grid below. The Upload Type column displays Manual when the data is manually uploaded.

To view records, click the number in the Asset Count column.
The ST03 Records dialog opens.
To upload SAP ST03 data on demand:
- Open Worksoft Impact.
- From the Worksoft Impact dashboard, open the Settings page in the following ways:
- Click the Settings
button at the top of the dashboard.

Click the User button and select Settings from the drop-down menu.

Click the ST03 Data tab.
The ST03 Data tab opens.

From the SAP System drop-down list, select the SAP system where you want to discover transports.
The listed SAP System(s) are based on the systems you configured in the Worksoft Portal.

Select the On Demand option.

In the Lookback Period field, specify the month and year of the ST03 data.

Click the Import button.
After the data is uploaded, the data appears in the grid below. The Upload Type column displays Auto when the data is uploaded on demand.

To view records, click the number in the Asset Count column.
The ST03 Records dialog opens. You can use the Search tool to find specific transports.
Deleting an ST03 record:
Click the Delete icon next to an ST03 record. Only tenant administrators can delete a record.
Deleting a record removes all associated ST03 data.
