Using the Log Collection Tool
The Log Collection tool collects interface log files and saves them to a ZIP file. The Web interface is included in the tool, and you can add individual interface extensions.
Also, you can select the All Others option to gather logs for all installed interfaces.
To use the Log Collection tool:
-
From the Certify menu, select Configure > Interfaces > Log Collection.
The Log Collection tool opens.
-
If the interface supports enabling and disabling logging functionality, select or clear the Enable Logging option.
If you clear the option, then logging is stopped.
-
Click Logging Options for the interface in which you want to collect logs.
Each interface has its own options. You can control what information is captured.
-
After you have selected the logging options for the interface, click Save.
-
Click Get Logs for the interface in which you want to collect logs.
A ZIP file is created with the collected interface log files.
The Save As dialog opens.
-
Browse to the directory where you want to save the log files.
-
If needed, update the file name in the File Name field.
-
Click Save.
A ZIP file is saved to the specified directory.
