Renaming Learned Java Objects

When setting up a test in Certify, renaming the objects that will be tested for clarity is often necessary. You can rename learned objects in the Learned Objects tree.

These new names can be saved as customizations, which you can import into later versions of the learned map.

To rename objects:

In the Certify Java Learned Objects tree, right-click on a learned object and select Rename.

Another option is to select from the Certify Java Learn menu Tools > Rename.

The object name becomes editable.
Enter a new object name.
Press <Enter>.

The object name in the Learned Objects tree is updated.

To undo the object rename:

In Certify Java Learn, right-click on a renamed object in the Learned Objects pane and select Undo Rename. The original name is restored.
