Finding Objects in a Java Application

With the Highlight in App tool in the Certify Java Learn, you can select an object in the Learned Objects tree and highlight the object in the Java application.

To use the Highlight in App tool:

In the Certify Java Learned Objects tree, select one of the following options:

Right-click on an object and select Highlight in App.
Select an object and choose Tools > Highlight in App from the Certify Java Learn menu.

The Certify Java Learn tool minimizes, and the application appears with the object highlighted with the cursor.

Hover-Find Tool

You can also use the Hover-Find tool to select an object in an application and view the object name in the Learned Objects tree.

To use the Hover-Find tool:

In the Certify Java Learn toolbar, click the Hover-Find button.
Navigate over your Java application and click on the object that you want to find in the Learned Objects tree.

The object is highlighted in the Learned Objects tree.
