Getting Started with Configuration Manager
The Configuration Manager allows you to create rules for the way a page is learned with an Interface Learn tool. These configurations are stored directly to the Certify database.
The Configuration Manager specifies how the Learn utility will learn the application page, as well as the following items:
- Which object types to import
- How to name the objects
- Which Certify Class to map elements to
- What attributes to use to recognize the object
Currently, only the HTML interface is supported.
Factory Configuration File
When starting Configuration Manager, the configuration is set to the default configuration file that is named Factory. You cannot edit the Factory configuration file in the Configuration Manager. However, you can use the File >Save As option to create your own configuration using the Factory configuration settings as a starting point.
For detailed procedures on using Configuration Manager, see the How To section.
