Copying Variables

You can create a new variable from an existing variable by copying and pasting the variable in the Variables Summary pane.

To copy a variable:

1. In the Navigation pane, click Variables.

The Variables window opens.

2. In the Navigation pane, select the folder that has a variable you want to copy.
3. In the Summary pane, right-click on the variable and select Copy or click the Copy button.
4. In the Navigation pane, select the folder where you want to paste the variable.
5. In the Summary pane, right-click in the pane and select Paste or click the Paste button.

The variable appears in the Summary pane.

If you need to edit the variable, right-click the variable and select Edit.
