Importing Worksoft Capture Files into Certify

Transactions recorded by standalone Worksoft Capture are saved as an XML file and can be imported directly into Worksoft Certify.

To import Worksoft Capture files into Certify:

1. In the Certify Navigation pane, click the Processes button.

   The Processes window opens.

2. In the Processes Navigation pane, click on the folder in which you want to save the new process.

3. Right-click in the Processes Summary pane and select Import New Process > From Certify Capture Import.

   The Select a Certify Capture File for Import opens.

4. Select the Worksoft Capture XML file that you want to import.

5. Click Open.

   The Capture XML Import dialog opens where you will select the application version for the interfaces.

   

6. In the Certify process name field, enter a valid process name.

7. (Optional) Select one or more of the following options:

   Process Name	Description
   Create subprocesses	Enable subprocess creation during the import process.
   Search All Project Application Versions For Match	Search across all project versions to find matching applications.
   Update Existing Object Images	Update images of existing objects in the system.

8. Select application versions for your interfaces in the Please select application version for the interfaces section.

   You can select and map application versions for different interface types.

9. Click OK.
