Importing Processes into Certify with Inline Business Capture
Worksoft Business Capture allows you to capture actions performed against applications under test. After Worksoft Capture is started, all interactions within the application will be captured, and these steps can be imported into Certify and converted into Certify process steps in the same sequence.
Be careful when entering confidential information because all interactions are retained while Business Capture is in Capture mode.
Accessing Worksoft Capture
You are able to access the Worksoft Capture in the following two ways:
From the Certify Processes window, right-click in the Summary pane and select Import New Process > Using Certify Capture.
From the Process Editor, right-click in the Steps tab and select Insert Steps With Certify Capture.
Configuring Settings
Before you begin to capture your processes, you need to enable the interfaces that you intend to use and set your Capture settings.
To configure settings:
Open the application in which you want to capture process steps.
Open Worksoft Certify.
In the Certify Navigation pane, click the Processes button.
The Processes window appears.
From the Certify Processes window, right-click in the Summary pane and select Import New Process > Using Certify Capture.
Worksoft Capture opens.
Before you begin capturing your process, you need to enable the interfaces that you will use.
