Importing Manual Tests

The transactions that were recorded by standalone Worksoft Capture are saved as XML files. These files can be imported directly into Certify to use as manual tests.

To import manual tests into Certify:

In the Certify Navigation pane, click the Processes button.

The Processes window appears.
In the Processes Navigation pane, click on the folder in which you want to save the new process.
Right-click in the Processes Summary pane and select Import New Process > As Manual Test.

The Select a Certify Capture File for Import appears.
Select the Worksoft Capture XML file that you want to import.
Click Open.

The new process appears in the Processes Summary pane, and a new Manual Tests folder is created in the Results window.
To test the process, select the process in the Processes Summary pane.
In the Certify toolbar, click the Run button to verify that the steps are working correctly.
If needed, open the Process Editor to edit or delete any steps within your process.
