Editing Attributes in Processes

The Attributes tab in the Process Editor displays all attributes and their values associated with processes throughout Certify. Attributes are user-defined values that allow you to extend the definitions of Certify features, and they allow you to categorize, collect, sort, and extract data.

Attributes are created in the Extensions window. However, you can edit and add attribute values for a process or child process in the Attributes tab of the Process Editor. When you edit and add attribute values in a process, these new values only apply to this one process.

To edit attributes in processes:

In the Process Editor, click the Attributes tab.
Apply edits to specific attributes by typing in a new value in the associated text field. To help you edit, right-click in a text field and use the following options:
Cut
Copy
Delete
Paste

To test new URL links, click the URL Link button next to the new link.
After you have applied your edits, click the Save Process button to save your changes.

The process is saved with the new attribute values.
