Creating a New Process Using Certify Capture Import

Standalone Worksoft Business Capture offers flexibility for capturing business processes without requiring installation of Worksoft Certify.

The transactions that were recorded by standalone Worksoft Capture are saved as an XML file that can be imported directly into Certify with Certify Capture Import.

To use Certify Capture Import:

  1. In the Certify Navigation pane, click the Processes button.

    The Processes window appears.

  2. In the Processes Navigation pane, click on the folder in which you want to save the new process.
  3. Right-click in the Processes Summary pane and select Import New Process > From Certify Capture Import.

    The Select a Certify Capture File for Import appears.

  4. Select the Worksoft Capture XML file that you want to import.
  5. Click Open.

    The new process appears in the Processes Summary pane.

  6. In the Processes Summary pane, select the process that you created.
  7. In the Certify toolbar, click the Run button to verify that the steps are working correctly.
  8. If needed, open the Process Editor to edit or delete any steps within your process.
