Assigning Users and Groups Folder Permissions

You can set permissions for the Processes and Results folders. If you have set permissions to a Results or Processes folder as read-only for a user, the user will not be able to save to this folder.

To assign users and groups folder permissions:

  1. In the Certify Navigation pane, click Processes to add permissions to a Process folder or click Results to add permissions to a Results folder.

The Processes or Results window opens.

  1. In the Navigation tree, right-click on a folder and select Security.

    The Permissions dialog opens.

  1. If you want to limit permissions to specific individual users or groups, right-click in the dialog and select Add User/Group.

    The Select User/Group dialog opens.

  1. Select one or multiple users and groups.

For multiple users, press the <Ctrl> key while selecting each user and group. For a range of consecutive users and groups, press the <Shift> key when selecting the range.
