Adding and Editing Values to Attributes

After you create an attribute, you can add, edit, delete, or change the order of attributes that you want visible from a multi-value control type.

To add values to an attribute:

  1. In the Navigation pane, click Extensions.

The Extensions window opens.

  1. In the Navigation tree, expand the Attributes folder.
  2. Select one of the attributes folders.
  1. In the Attributes Summary pane, right-click on an attribute and select Edit.

The Edit Attribute dialog opens.

  1. Click Edit Values.

The Edit List Values dialog opens.

  1. Click Add.

The New Value dialog opens.

  1. Enter a value in the field.
  2. Click OK.

The new value appears in the List Values field.

  1. Click OK

To edit values in the attribute list:

  1. In the New Attribute or Edit Attribute dialogs, click Edit Values.

The Edit List Values dialog opens.

  1. In the List Values field, select a value.
  2. Click Edit.

The Edit Value dialog opens.

  1. Edit the value.
  2. Click OK.

The updated value appears in the List Values field.

  1. Click OK.

To rearrange the order of the values in the attribute list:

  1. In the New Attribute or Edit Attribute dialogs, click Edit Values.

The Edit List Values dialog opens.

  1. In the List Values field, select a value.
  2. Click Move Up or Move Down to rearrange the order of the values.
  1. After you have completed rearranging the values, click OK to save your new order.

To delete values in the attribute list:

  1. In the New Attribute or Edit Attribute dialogs, click Edit Values.

The Edit List Values dialog opens.

  1. In the List Values field, select a value.
  2. Click Edit.

The Edit Value dialog opens.

  1. Select a value from the Values List.
  2. Click Delete.

    A message appears asking if you want to delete the value.

  3. Click Yes.

    The value is deleted from the Values list.

  4. Click OK.
