Preserving Process Links When Copying and Pasting Requirements

When copying and pasting requirements, the default behavior is to clear links to processes. In order to preserve process links, Certify administrators must set the Requirement Copy Paste option in the Global Configurations Settings tool.

To preserve process links when copying and pasting requirements:

1. From the Certify menu, select Configure > Certify > Certify Global.

   The Global Configuration Settings dialog opens.

2. Scroll down to the Requirements Copy Paste option.

3. From the Requirements Copy Paste drop-down list, select Preserve_Process_Links.

4. Click OK to save your changes.

   When you copy and paste requirements, your process links are saved.
