Linking Requirements to a Process Step

By linking requirements to process steps, you will be able to track requirements for your application. Requirements can be linked to multiple process steps, and process steps can be linked to multiple requirements.

To link requirements to a process step:

  1. In the Navigation pane, click Requirements.

The Requirements window appears.

  1. In the Requirements Navigation tree, select the requirement that you want to link to a process step.
  2. Click the Linked Processes tab.
  3. Right-click in the Linked Process Steps section and select Add Process Step.

The Select Step dialog appears.

  1. In the Navigation pane, select a process folder that contains the specific process.
  2. In the Processes Summary pane, select the process.
  3. Click the Steps tab.
  4. Select the step that you want to link to your requirement.
  5. Click OK.

The process step appears in the Linked Process Step section, and the linked requirement appears in the Steps tab of the Process Editor.
