Viewing User Login History

Certify administrators are able to view a user's login history. With the User Login History tool, an administrator is able to view the following:

  • When a user has logged on and off of Certify
  • View login history during a specified period

Administrators are also able to set conditions to filter the user login history, and they are able to export results to a CSV file.

To view user login history:

  1. From the Certify menu, select Tools > User Logins.

    The User Login History tool opens with the Chart tab in view.

  2. In the Time Frame drop-down list, select one of the following time frames:
  3. 1 day
  4. Last 7 days
  5. Last 30 days
  6. Other

  7. If you selected one of the first three options, the Chart is updated to reflect your selection.

    If you want to view the data in a list, click the Grid tab.

  8. If you selected Other, click the Start Date and End Date drop-down buttons to select your date range and click Search to view the list.
  9. After you reviewed the list, click OK to close the tool.

To set filter conditions:

  1. In the User Login History tool, click the Grid tab.
  2. In one of the User Login History columns, click the Conditions icon in the column and select the condition that you want to use:
  3. Starts With
  4. Contains
  5. End With
  6. Does Not Start With
  7. Does Not Contain
  8. Does Not End With
  9. Does Not Match
  10. Not Like
  11. Select a value from the drop-down list.

    The list is filtered with this new condition.

    To delete the filter, click the Clear Criteria icon.

To export the User Login History list:

  1. In the User Login History tool, click the Grid tab.

  2. Right-click in the Grid tab and select Export.

    The Save As dialog opens.

  3. Browse to the folder where you want to save your results.
  4. In the File Name field, enter the name for the CSV file.
  5. Click Save.

    The list is saved as a CSV file.
