Troubleshooting Locked Certify Databases

If Certify databases lock a component that prevents you from editing it, Certify administrators can use the Manage Certify Database Locks tool to unlock it. The Manage Certify Database Locks tool allows administrators to monitor and discover all locked components in a single view and unlock them.

To unlock a component in a Certify database:

1. From the Certify menu, select Tools > Manage Locks.

   The Manage Certify Database Locks tool opens.

2. Select the component you want to unlock.

3. Click Unlock.

   The component unlocks.

4. Click Close to close the tool.
