Getting Started with Worksoft Automation Insights

Worksoft Automation Insights is a standalone tool that provides metrics to evaluate the health and performance of your Worksoft automation environment. The metrics evaluate the automation environment state, track risks, and uncover potential problem areas.

The Getting Started section provides information on configuring and installing Worksoft Automation Insights. For detailed procedures on using Automation Insights, see the How To section.

Before you begin to install Worksoft Automation Insights, verify that your environment has the following system requirements installed:

You can install Worksoft Automation Insights on the same application server where Certify Services and the Continuous Testing Manager (CTM) are installed. The Automation Insights database can be installed on the same server as your Certify database.

To install Worksoft Automation Insights, you must complete the following steps:

  • Create a Worksoft Automation Insights database on a supported SQL Server.
  • Install Worksoft Automation Insights.
  • Configure the Worksoft Automation Insights database connection.
  • Configure the Certify database connection.

Accessing Worksoft Automation Insights

The URL address for Automation Insights is configured during installation:

https://<fully-qualified-domain-name>/automationinsights

Example: https://servername.worksoft.com/automationinsights
