Worksoft Portal and Services

The Worksoft Portal is an administration tool that registers the following information for Worksoft products:

• Database settings
• Licenses
• Users
• Email SMTP settings
• Tenants

• Integrations

Worksoft applications leverage this information from the Worksoft Portal. For detailed procedures on how to set up the Worksoft Portal, see the How To section.

Worksoft Portal is one component of the Worksoft Infrastructure Services package. The Worksoft Infrastructure Services package also installs the following services:

Product or Service	Description
Authentication service	This service is an identity provider for Worksoft products.
Cryptography service	Cryptography service for all Worksoft products.
Certify Results Viewer	Worksoft Results UI allows you to view the details of the execution step results.
Bookmark service	Create bookmarks to save favorite Certify folders and processes for execution.
Scheduler service	Schedule tasks and jobs.
Capture Documentation service	Produce Microsoft Word or PDF documentation from Worksoft Capture files.

Accessing Worksoft Portal

The URL address for the Worksoft Portal is configured during installation:

https://<portalservername>/Portal

Example: https://servername.worksoft.com/portal

If you have any questions about your specific URL address, please ask your IT administrator.
