Updating the Worksoft Integration Gateway Database in Worksoft Portal

When you install the Worksoft Integration Gateway, you create the Integration Gateway database. If you need to update the database, you can edit it in the Worksoft Portal.

Registering Worksoft Integration Gateway

The first time an administrator sign in to Worksoft Portal, the Integration Gateway registers automatically.

From the Worksoft Portal menu, select Product Configuration > Integration Gateway to verify the registration.

If for some reason the product does not automatically register, you can trigger the registration manually. For more information, see Manually Registering Products and Services for the Worksoft Portal.

To update the Integration Gateway database in Worksoft Portal:

  1. From the Worksoft Portal menu, select Product Configuration > Integration Gateway.

    The Integration Gateway Configuration page opens.

  1. In the Database Configuration section, apply your edits in the following respective fields:
  2. SQL server
  3. Database name
  4. SQL user name
  5. SQL password
  6. If you want to use Windows Authentication instead of SQL Server Authentication, select Use Trusted Connection (Windows).
  7. To prevent database permission issues, select the Trust Server Certificate option.

  8. Click Test to test the connection.
  9. Click Save.

    The updated Integration Gateway database is saved.
