Getting Started with Worksoft RPA Orchestrator

Before you install Worksoft RPA Orchestrator, verify that you have the following system requirements installed on your application server and machines used as Orchestrator agents.

Worksoft RPA Orchestrator System Requirements

Worksoft RPA Orchestrator supports Worksoft Certify v12.0.2010 and later versions in Automator's mode only.

WARNING: Do not install Worksoft RPA Orchestrator on a server that has Worksoft Certify Services installed because of the constraint of bandwidth on the network interface controller (NIC card).

Database Server Requirements

Worksoft RPA Orchestrator supports the following database servers:

Microsoft® SQL Server 2022
Microsoft® SQL Server 2016 (SP1)

Only one SQL Server is needed for all Worksoft databases. If you already have a SQL Server being used for any other Worksoft products, a separate SQL Server is not necessary.

Worksoft Orchestrator Agents

The Worksoft RPA Orchestrator leverages dedicated remote machines with Orchestrator Agent installed on them that will be used by digital workers to run robotic tests. If using Windows® 10, there is a limit to one digital worker per machine.

WARNING: Do not install Orchestrator Agent on a machine that has Worksoft Execution Manager Agent installed.

The URL address for Worksoft RPA Orchestrator is configured during installation:

https://<servername>/Orchestrator

Example: https://servername.worksoft.com/Orchestrator
