Connecting to a Certify Database in Worksoft Business Capture

From Worksoft Business Capture, you can connect to a Certify database and utilize its configurations and assets.

This database connection option is only available in the Automator User Persona view.

To connect to a Certify database in Business Capture:

  1. Click the Business Capture icon on your desktop.

    Worksoft Business Capture opens.

  2. Click the Main Menu button and select Settings > Configure Interface and License.

    The Configuration pane opens.

  1. Click the Edit Option icon next to Database Connection.

    The Certify DB Connection dialog opens.

  2. Select one of the following options:
  3. Portal
  4. Legacy
  5. If you selected Portal, enter your information in the following fields:
  6. Worksoft Portal URL
  7. User name
  8. Password
  9. If you selected Legacy, enter your information in the following fields:
  10. Database server name
  11. Database name
  12. User name
  13. Password
  14. Service layer URL
  15. Certify user name
  16. Certify password

  17. Click Validate to check your connection.

    A message appears stating that the connection was successful.

  18. Click OK.

  19. Click OK to save the connection.
