Configuring Xray in the Integration Gateway

Worksoft supports the integration with Xray. Before proceeding with the configuration, verify that you have the appropriate permissions.

Accessing the Worksoft Integration Gateway

Listed below is the URL address for the Worksoft Integration Gateway:

https://<portalservername>Integration

Example: https://servername.worksoft.com/Integration

If you have any questions about your specific URL address, ask your IT administrator.

To configure Xray:

  1. Open the Worksoft Integration Gateway.

    The Integration Gateway page opens.

  2. From the Create Integration drop-down list, select Xray Integration.

    The Xray Integration page opens.

  1. In the Integration Name field, enter a name for your integration.

  2. (Optional) In the Description field, enter a description.

  3. In the Jira Details section, enter your Jira URL in the Jira URL field.

    Example: https://<your-domain-name>.atlassian.net/

  4. In the User Name field, enter the Jira username.

  5. In the API Access Token field, enter the API access token for Jira.

  6. In the Xray Details section, enter your Xray URL in the Xray URL field.

    Example: https://xray.cloud.getxray.app/api/v2/

  7. In the Xray Client ID field, enter your Xray client ID.

  8. In the Xray Client Secret field, enter the Xray client secret.

  9. In the Project Key field, enter the Xray project key.

  10. In the Project Name field, enter the Xray project name.

    This project is automatically synchronized with Certify and appears as a folder under the Certify project you specify in the Certify section.

  11. In the Certify section, enter the Worksoft Portal username in the Portal User Name field.

  1. Click Fetch Token to get user tokens to populate the User Token drop-down list.

    If you previously added the token in the Worksoft Portal, the system displays a message stating that it successfully retrieved the token(s).

  2. Click OK.

  3. From the User Token drop-down list, select a token.
  4. From the Tenant drop-down list, select a Worksoft Portal tenant.

    The tenant you select must have a Certify database associated with it.

  5. From the Database drop-down list, select a database registered in the tenant.
  6. From the Project drop-down list, select the project associated with the specified user, tenant, and database.

  7. Click Save.

    The Xray integration appears in the list on the Integration Gateway page.
