Worksoft Integration with Atlassian Jira
Worksoft integration with Atlassian® Jira® streamlines defect management by automatically capturing failures from Worksoft Continuous Testing Manager (CTM) suite executions and accelerates issue resolution during test execution cycles. The integration ensures faster issue tracking, improved visibility, and efficient test processes.
The Jira and CTM integration provides you with the following benefits:
-
Centralized defect management
Within a single platform, you have unified visibility into all defects in Jira, enabling teams to track, prioritize, and manage issues generated by CTM test suite executions.
-
Automated defect creation
Defects are automatically created in Jira from failed CTM test suites through the Worksoft Scheduler, reducing manual effort and ensuring timely logging of high-level defects.
-
Defect tracking
When defect creation is enabled, individual CTM test suite failures generate defects in Jira, provide detailed insights into failed points, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely logging of high-level defects.
-
Improved collaboration
Collaboration between functional testers, developers, and stakeholders is enhanced by providing real-time visibility into defects, accelerating resolution cycles, and improving overall software quality.
System Requirements
Before you can integrate with Jira, you must have installed the following Worksoft products:
- Worksoft Portal and all infrastructure services, including the Worksoft Scheduler
- Integration Gateway
- Worksoft Certify (Certify Web API and Certify Results API)
