Installing the ALM/Quality Center Connectivity Add-On Tool

In order to use ALM/Quality Center with Worksoft Certify, you need to install the Quality Center Connectivity Add-On tool to the client machine. This tool enables Certify to communicate with the Quality Center.

To install the ALM/Quality Center connectivity add-on tool:

  1. Open the Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) site.
  2. Click Tools.
  3. On the ALM Tools screen, click HP ALM Connectivity.

  4. On the ALM Connectivity screen, click Save when a message asks if you want to save TDConnect.exe.

  5. Run TDConnect.exe. You need to have administrator privileges to run this executable otherwise this tool will not install or register correctly.

  6. After the installation completes, a message appears.

  7. Click OK.
