Creating Certify Attributes for Certify Integration with ALM/Quality Center

To integrate Certify with the ALM/Quality Center, you must add the following three result attributes to your Certify project:

  • QC TestSet
  • QC TestName

  • QC TestRun

If you purchased Certify's SAP Master Content database, you do not need to create these attributes because they are in the database.

To create result attributes:

To create these attributes, you must sign in to Certify as an administrator and follow this process for each attribute.

  1. In the Certify Navigation pane, click Extensions.

    The Extensions window opens.

  2. In the Extensions Navigation tree, expand the Attributes folder.

    The Attributes folder expands to display Process, Requirement, and Results folders.

  3. Right-click on the Results folder and select New Attribute.

    The New Attribute dialog opens.

  4. Create the following attributes:
  5. QC TestSet
  6. QC TestName
  7. QC TestRun
  8. In the Data Type field, select Text for all attributes.
  9. In the Control Type field, select Textbox for all attributes.
  10. Click OK to save the attribute.

  11. Repeat this process for the other two attributes.
