Downloading Maps for Updated Applications

Certify processes utilize map objects to test against other applications. During analysis against SAP transports, Certify Impact detects changes to map objects.

If screens have changed based on the selected transports, the hyperlink message SAP Map Object Files displays in the Certify Processes tab. Click on the hyperlink to download the SAP map object files containing the new SAP map objects to be imported into Certify.

If map objects do not change, the SAP Map Object Files: None message opens. No new SAP map objects need to be imported into Certify.

To download maps for updated applications:

1. Create a new Certify Impact analysis. For information on creating an analysis, see Creating a New Analysis.

2. When you get to the Certify Processes tab, click SAP Map Object Files in the right top corner.

   The SAP Map Object Files page opens.

3. Click Download Latest Maps.

   The updated maps are generated and packaged into a Map package zip file.

   A message opens asking if you want to open or save the file.

4. Click Save.

   The Save As dialog opens.

5. Specify a directory for the file.

6. Click Save.

   When you have Worksoft Certify open, unzip the Map package and import the updated maps into the appropriate application.
